What is a CAD Challenge?
Simply put, a CAD Challenge is a timed event where students create CAD models for robots based on a common rule manual. Teams of up to 3 students (or unlimited if on the same FRC team) may work together to design a robot as they attempt to design a complete FRC or FTC robot in a short time span of one week.
Why should I participate?
CAD Challenges are a great way to improve your CAD skills, no matter your experience. In the InspireNC CAD Challenge, we prioritize the effectiveness and manufacturability of the robots submitted, helping students implement to create a more realistic and competition-ready robot.
When does it start?
