Zero Robotics

First Robotics Competition


The Zero Robotics competition introduces middle school students to computer programming, robotics, and space engineering as they program SPHERES, autonomous robots on the ISS. The program is recommended for 6th to 9th graders.

The FIRST Robotics Competition provides high school students with the opportunity to pursue their interests ranging from business and graphic design to engineering and technology. This program is recommended for 9th to 12th graders.

Charlotte Rat Rods

First Technology Challenge

First Technology Challenge

The Charlotte Rat Rods competition allows competitors to learn mechanical engineering in the race to build a hot rod car. Competitors follow specific criteria to build their car. This program is recommended for high schoolers.

The FIRST Tech Competition, like the FIRST Robotics Competition, offers opportunities to both middle and high school students to discover their interest on the path to FRC. This program is recommended for 7th to 10th graders.

Who Are We

InspireNC is a community driven non-profit organization located in the Triangle area. We aim to promote interest, knowledge, and involvement in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Our goal is to foster integrity, teamwork, communication, and other technical skills in the next generation of leaders and positively impact our local community. InspireNC coordinates outreach and volunteering  events throughout the Triangle. In addition to this, we have a FIRST Robotics Competition team, a FIRST Tech Challenge Team, and multiple programming competition teams.
